SUMMARY

The Administrative Assistant under the direct supervision of the Regional Director and the indirect supervision of State Management regarding clinical records is responsible for tracking and maintaining all clinical records for a region. He/she provides administrative support to the Regional Director.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist Regional Director in processing Payroll using the internal Electronic Health Records System
  • Communications – Answer phones and relay messages. Check voice mail, send and receive faxes. Type correspondence/memos for the Regional Director. Mail correspondence for employees. Log and keep a record of all paperwork sent to Corporate. Serve as a representative to clients, families, guests and referral sources
  • Human Resources – Assists Regional Director with New Hire Paperwork, employee documentation, copying, faxing and tracking employee documents
  • Organizes and maintains accurate clinical records, updating as needed to insure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintains positive community, customer and client relations, presenting information on FPS services as required
  • Secures and protects the confidentiality of client data in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Office Administration, medical records or a relate field
  • Three to five years of professional experience in record keeping and quality assurance, preferably in a Behavioral Health field
  • Proof of education and credentials and background checks will be required prior to employment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of Virginia Medicaid regulations and requirements for home-based services
  • Ability to work independently
