One of the most rewarding jobs in the world is helping to preserve one’s family. As an Intensive In-Home Specialist your goal is to support and develop family structure and prevent children from an “out of home” placement, or in some cases support a family and child that may be transitioning back into their home. You will use your education, training and skills to implement proper therapeutic interventions, offer parent skills training, and serve as a liaison, advocate, and coordinator of other service offerings that will better the child and family’s chances for ongoing success in the home.
This position does require a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and crisis response to our clients. Are you ready to help us create healthy communities, create healthier families?
Qualifications: In order to successfully apply for this position; you must, at a minimum, be registered as a Qualified Mental Health Professional - Children (QMHP-C) through the Virginia Department of Health Professionals.
