Job Description:

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Human Services related field and license eligible.

Preferred Qualifications:

Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work with 1-2 years of supervisory experience with an in-home counseling program.

Position Duties:

•Supervising clinical work of home based/in-home counselors and behavior specialists.

•Assessments of new referrals.

•Providing a minimum of one hour of face-to-face therapy in the home with all required cases.

•In conjunction with the Clinical Director, providing supervisory support and direct service for Crisis Intervention Services Program.

•Providing direct service in our outpatient clinic.

•Providing direct service in the home-based counseling program, when needed.

•Monitoring program clinical records.

•Providing weekly clinical/admin supervision to assigned staff.

•Assuring case coverage during staff vacations, etc.

•Actively participating in the day-to-day operation of the In-home program.

•Reviewing paperwork/reviewing and approving progress notes.

•Case assignment participation.

•Interviewing, training and orientation of new staff.

•Providing 24-hour crisis intervention support as needed to counselors.

•Participating in meetings with staff and other community agencies.

•Providing regular clinical training to maintain clinical integrity.

•Assisting with processing payroll.

•Providing input into employee evaluations.

•Assisting in facilitating staff meetings.

•Maintaining positive relationships with referral sources.

•Annual evaluations of supervisees.
