Family Preservation Services (FPS) of North Carolina is a subsidiary of Pathways of Molina.

FPS Team is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Enhanced Support Specialist QP, under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director or Designee, is responsible for the provision of therapeutic services to consumers enrolled in the Enhanced Support Services Program with Family Preservation Services of North Carolina, Inc. The ESS Qualified Professional is responsible providing community-based rehabilitative services and interventions necessary to treat children and adolescents to achieve their mental health and/or substance abuse recovery goals and to assist parents and other caregivers in helping the identified consumer build resiliency.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Psychology or a related human services field and has two (2) years of MH/DD/SA experience providing direct service to the population served


OR

  • Bachelor's Degree or a Master’s Degree in a field unrelated to human services and has four (4) years post-graduation experience of MH/DD/SA providing direct service to the population served


OR

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Education or a related human services field and has one (1) year of MH/DD/SA experience providing direct service to the population served

 

                                         **Guidelines for meeting the Qualified Professional (QP) are below***

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Social Work or Psychology, or a related human services field and has two (2) years of MH/DD/SA experience providing direct service to the population served. All individuals must be credentialed as a QP by meeting the requirements specified for Qualified Professional status according to 10A NCAC 27.G.0104

OR

  • Baccalaureate Degree or a Master’s Degree in a field unrelated to human services and has the required number of years of MH/DD/SA experience providing direct service to the population served.  All individuals must be credentialed as a QP by meeting the requirements specified for Qualified Professional status according to 10A NCAC 27.G.0104

OR

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field and has one (1) year of MH/DD/SA experience providing direct service to the population served OR has contracted with a professional licensure board.  All individuals must be credentialed as a QP by meeting the requirements specified for Qualified Professional status according to 10A NCAC 27.G.0104
