SUMMARY:

A Life Sharing Provider will share their heart and home with an individual with developmental disabilities.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide individuals with a safe, nurturing, healthy environment.
• Assist individuals with daily living skills.
• Help improve their relationships with family and friends.
• Assist individuals with daily life decisions.
• Support individuals in the acquisition of new skills.
• Attend required trainings.


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a separate bedroom for the individual.
• Meet state requirements for health and safety of the person being placed.
• Criminal clearances and physicals for all persons living in the household.
• Minimum of 24 hours pre-service training and annual trainings.
