We are seeking a Therapeutic Day Treatment Counselor. The Therapeutic Day Treatment Counselor’s role is designed to work within a designated school. The position works the office hours of the school and closely follows the school calendar, with the potential to work a summer program. As an employee you will work closely with 3-6 students, and their families, to develop treatment plans, provide individual and group therapeutic interventions, crisis intervention, care coordination and family connection. This is a team environment where you will work closely with school personnel, students, families and other members of the FPS team to ensure a supportive environment is always available for our students, schools and our employees.
Qualifications: In order to successfully apply for this position; you must, at a minimum, be registered as a Qualified Mental Health Professional - Children (QMHP-C) through the Virginia Department of Health Professionals.
