 The Therapist carries a caseload of mixed acuity and will provide on-going individual, family, and/or group therapy.


  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Therapy, Psychology or related field by an accredited educational institution with 1-2 years experience
  • Current Licensure status in Arizona in Social Work, Counseling, Substance Abuse, Marriage and Family Therapy, Associate Counselor
  • Licensed in Arizona preferred
  • Bi-lingual preferred
  • Current TB test
  • CPR/First Aide (Adult and Child)
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license (without restrictions)
  • Current automobile insurance
  • Must be eligible for fingerprint clearance approval without restrictions (and maintain during employment)


  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Timely completion of mandated paperwork
  • Maintain productivity standards
  • Complete all required training
  • Flexibility and ability to manage ever-changing priorities, to meet the urgent requirements of the client/family
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate with multiple parties (Schools, PCJCC, PCP etc.) in a timely manner
  • Ability to use the DSM-V to assess and document accurate diagnosis
  • Ability to advocate and articulate the client’s current psychiatric needs to medical and other clinical staff
  • Conduct assessments, Mental Status exams and provide crisis intervention, individual and family services
  • Knowledge and ability to use therapeutic therapy modalities and evidence based practices
  • Effectively use the Electronic Health Record system
  • Maintain ethical standards and professional boundaries
  • Ability to provide individual, family and group therapy
  • Experience providing substance abuse treatment (preferred)
